Sustaining Shropshire is a new project which provides free expert support to entrepreneurs and to small and medium sized businesses, in Shropshire’s flourishing agri-tech and food and drink sectors, to develop pioneering new ideas and boost sustainability. This project follows on from the success of the AGRI Project.

The project was funded by the Shropshire Council through the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund and will run until March 2025. It will help businesses across the Shropshire Council area, to innovate, develop new products and technologies and grow in a way which is environmentally sustainable.

Established businesses could benefit from one-to-one bespoke direct support, that addresses the key challenges and opportunities they are facing. The activities delivered will have a significant and meaningful impact on the business’ productivity, efficiency and commitment to innovation and the environment.

The start-up programme, funded by the UK Government, is designed to provide start-ups with the foundations and knowledge to streamline and grow their business idea.

Start-up businesses on this programme will also gain access to the , an incubation hot desk space to feel immersed and inspired in an existing agri-tech innovation ecosystem.
