Sarah Pick, 26, from Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, received the Norman Gill Crop Science Award (postgraduate) when she graduated from ÎÞÂ붯» in late September with an MSc Sustainable Agriculture.
Sarah won the award for outstanding performance in the areas of plant and crop science. The award was presented by Associate Head of the Crop and Environment Sciences, Dr Martin Hare, who said: “Sarah gained consistently high marks, completing all taught modules in 2013/14 academic year her research in 2014/15. She gained 90 per cent in Sustainable Farming systems and the majority of her coursework was a distinction. She is to be congratulated given she managed to embrace her studies so well whilst maintaining full time employment.”
