    Postgraduate Enrolment and Registration

    Online Enrolment

    Postgraduate online enrolment will be sent out week commencing 2nd September 2024 with full instructions.

    Once enrolled and we have completed the RTS checks,  a separate email will be sent to you which will then enable you to access the online induction and, if required, complete your module choice selection for the academic year 2024/5.  This may be a couple of days after you have completed enrolment so please do not be concerned. 

    The online induction will be sent to you prior to your course start date. This will include links to sessions on:

    • Postgraduate study at Harper Adams – Mitch Crook.
    • Learning Support – Jane Hill.
    • Careers – Maria Simpson.
    • Student services – Jo da Silva.
    • Students' Union – SU President/VP.
    • Good Academic Practice – Amanda Seys
    • E-learning, IT and Library.

    Registration

    This will take place in the Faccenda Foyer on Monday, 16 September  or Tuesday, 17 September for all courses except those listed below.  This is where you will sign in and collect your ID card. 

    • Registration for full-time students living locally or on campus will be on Monday, 16 September from 3pm–4:30pm 
    • Registration for part-time students and all others will be on Tuesday, 17 September from 8:30am–9:30am.
    Biological Recording (Surveying, Monitoring or Analysis) students only

    You will be contacted directly, by Mitch Crook, with further details of your course induction which will be online on Wednesday, 18 September from 10am–12pm. We will arrange for your ID cards to be collected/distributed when you attend your first module on campus. 

    You do not need to attend Registration or the Welcome Introduction on 16 and 17 September 2024.

    Data Science for Global Agriculture, Food and Environment - Registered PgC online students only

    Professional Skills for Data Science will commence from 11.15am on Tuesday, 17 to Thursday 19 September 2024 inclusive. This is an in-person module for all students on the course. ONLY Postgraduate Certificate students have the option of either attending in person OR to study online. If you wish to study online, it will be simulcast on TEAMS and recorded, and we will contact you in advance to send you a separate TEAMS invite.

    Plant Health and Biosecurity students only

    You will be contacted directly, by Simon Edwards, with further details of your course induction which will be online on Tuesday, 17 September from 9am–12pm. We will arrange for your ID cards to be collected/distributed when you attend your first module on campus. In your first year you will study Plant Health Principles and Plant Health Practices only.  

    You do not need to attend Registration or the Welcome Introduction on 16 and 17 September 2024.

    Rural Estate and Land Management (REALM) and Rural Property Management students only

    On Monday 16 September - Regional Food Academy (arrival 1pm) we have arranged for you to meet Emma Pierce-Jenkins and the course team for an introduction to the course specific accreditation - Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and other important LPM resources. Further details will be sent to you prior to registration. You will also be able to sign in and collect your ID card.

    Research and Information Skills will then commence from 11.15am on Tuesday, 17 to Thursday, 19 September 2024 inclusive.

    Veterinary Nurse students only

    In addition to the online induction materials, your online course resources will be launched on Monday 9 September with on campus teaching on Thursday 12 September only, which is compulsory.  This attendance will also form part of your registration and your ID cards will be issued then. You will receive further information directly from Susan Howarth regarding this nearer the time.

    You do not need to attend Registration or the Welcome Introduction on 16 and 17 September 2024.
