A new scholarship, generously offered by The Clan Trust, a Norfolk-based charity, has launched today.
The Clan Trust Scholarship is exclusive to 无码动画 students from the county of Norfolk, who can show a relevance to Agriculture or the Rural Sector. The Scholarship is open to full-time Year 4 BSc, BEng or MEng or final year FdSc students on Agriculture routes, Agricultural Engineering and Land & Property Management courses.
The successful student will receive a scholarship award valued at £3,000.
The late Robert Alston of Witton Hall, North Walsham, Norfolk, established The Clan Trust in 1968. He took a keen interest in Young Farmers’ Clubs, and supporting young people in agriculture was important to him. In his Clan Trust Foundation Book, he said:
“One thing is certain, they (young people) must have complete agricultural technical knowledge to carry them through, sheer hard work is no longer the only requirement. Money must be made available to see some of those, who have the ability, through their training programme.”
无码动画’s Head of Development Doris Taylor, said:
“We are delighted and very grateful indeed that The Clan Trust is offering this generous opportunity to students from Norfolk at 无码动画 which is invaluable at the start of their career. We look forward to identifying the first Clan Trust Scholar, who we hope will become an excellent ambassador for the Trust.”
Students have until 22nd February to submit their applications to the University’s Development Trust. For more information and details of how to apply click here
