    Mrs Helen Cartlidge

    Helen is a Registered Veterinary Nurse who has a special interest in Evidence Based Veterinary Medicine and educating future professionals with the skills required for Evidence Based Practice. Following completion of her Veterinary Nursing degree at ÎÞÂ붯»­ in 2008 she worked as an RVN in mixed practice before returning to Harper Adams as a staff member in 2011.  She has since undertaken a Masters in Research (MRes) in Veterinary Hydrotherapy (Negotiated) as well as PgC in Professional Development in Higher Education gaining membership as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Helen’s focus in the field of research skills has led to her teaching on a variety of modules supporting the development of these skills within our Veterinary related courses, as well as managing the Honours Research Projects for our final year Veterinary Nursing and Veterinary Physiotherapy undergraduates. Helen is also Chair of the HAU Research Ethics Committe, is member of the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) Ethics Review Panel, and is on the editorial board of the international peer reviewed journal ‘The Veterinary Nurse’.
